Thanks for stopping by my website. I am a freelance multimedia journalist in Phoenix, Arizona. Here you can learn more about my work and listen to my stories.
The Radio and Television News Directors Association has announced the winners for the 2009 regional Edward R. Murrow awards. For my region, I won in the best sports reporting category for a feature about a sixty-something college tennis player.
In other award news, the Associated Press, Television Radio Association recently announced the winners and nominees for the 2009 Mark Twain awards. I received two honors: an award for best sports reporting for the same tennis story, and a nomination for best light feature for a piece about John McCain’s cabin in Cornville. I’ll be going to the awards banquet in June to accept my prize.
Thanks so much to APTRA and RTNDA for the recognition – and congratulations to all the winners!
